Self-Guided Tour and Nature Hike
Self-guided, family-friendly tours are available everyday from 10:30am – 3:00pm.
$2 per person – The Self-guided tour usually takes about 1 hour
Stroll the grounds and enjoy the natural beauty of our farm! The self-guided tour includes hiking a 1.3 mile trail through the pastures and along Eagle Creek. Enjoy native Indiana flora and watch for wildlife like deer, hawks, Blue Herons, and even the occasional Bald Eagle. See if you can find our 300 year old virgin growth Oak tree along the trail!
We enjoy allowing visitors to see our property, but as a working farm that practices rotational grazing, we cannot always guarantee close access to our herd. Thank you for helping us honor our animals’ need for space to graze and frequent movement between pastures.
Cow milking takes place daily around 4:00pm in the milking parlor and is open to the public. Milking time is your best opportunity to see our cows up close! Ice cream or a smoothie from our Dairy Bar is an excellent way to pass the hour in between the closing of the trail and the start of milking.
Please sign-in and pay at our Farm Store to receive your tour pass and map with information to facilitate your tour experience.
Groups of 15 or more must schedule a private tour.
Please note: Strollers on the trails are possible, but not recommended.
For more information call the Farm Store at 317-733-1700
For your safety…
- Please do not enter the pastures with the herd; stay on walking trails.
- We use electric fencing. Do not touch any wires and keep your children away from them.
- CAUTION: BULLS – We breed all year, so our bulls are part of each herd. Do not approach the herd too closely. If a bull is showing signs of aggression (i.e. pawing ground, being “vocal”, throwing head around, focusing on you) walk away quickly.
